PSI History
Founded in 1990 by Geologists, Precision Sampling, Inc. (PSI)
was established to provide the environmental and geotechnical
engineering community with the highest quality field data
delivered through the most professional contracting services.
PSI was one of the early developers of direct push technology;
direct push innovations included “Dual Tube” continuous
coring (Enviro-Core) and the Continuous Multi-Channel Tubing
system (CMT) for sampling and monitoring.
In 1999, PSI was acquired by an investor group. As PSI evolved along-side the
drilling services and environmental/geotechnical consulting
markets, it developed more innovative technologies to meet
its original objectives. |

In 2007, Precision Sampling, Inc.
acquired Spectrum Exploration and folded Spectrum’s
Stockton, CA, Colorado Springs, CO and Albuquerque, NM operations
into the Precision Sampling family. Today, with three locations
and a wide array of drilling, sampling and remediation technologies,
PSI now provides its clients with a diverse array of tools
and techniques to perform geologic field investigation projects quickly and cost effectively.
