Strata Star 10:
The Strata
Star 10 capabilities fall between the CME 75 and CME 85. The Strata Star 10 is
a hydraulic top head style rig that allows the operator to adjust the rotation
speed from 0-600 RPM and allow the rotary head to “stall” rather than twist
rotary tooling such as Tubex or rock coring systems. This rig has reached
depths of 380 feet with 4 ¼” HSA at Los Alamos National Lab.
